First new PBR EP of 2025.
The release features two Original works , "Cane Oh" and "Listen 2 Me," showcasing the duo's signature fusion of deep house grooves and disco-infused rhythms.
"Listen 2 Me" opens the EP up with a foot-stompingly confident groove glued together with a sublime live bass played by Fernando Pulichino (of Silver City, Mule Music and DFA fame). Complementing the original, the track then receives a masterful reinterpretation by the legendary Eric Duncan, aka known as Dr. Dunks. Renowned for his work as one half of the influential DJ duo Rub-N-Tug and as part of DFA’s Still Going, Duncan has a storied history of delivering some the most iconic remixes in dance musics underground of the last 25 years. His remix of "Listen 2 Me" infuses the track with his trademark blend of disco, funk, and soul, characterised by hypnotic grooves and off kilter energy that has defined his illustrious career.
"Cane Oh" with a pulsating bass line and infectious keyboard riffs, meshed to warped and wayward effects throughout, embodies PBR Streetgang's knack for crafting tracks that resonate with both intimate club settings and festival crowds. The track's layers rhythmic precision create an immersive experience, solidifying its potential as a dance floor staple.
