The independent Machine Pop label Plonk, based in Sweden, were putting together a special compilation dedicated to the Kraftwerk legend Florian Schneider, and when KRAFTman’s song “Florian” was completed he submitted it for consideration to be included on the compilation, the track was welcomed by the Plonk community and the track was included on “We Are Machine Pop 6 (In Memory Of Florian Schneider)”, the compilation was released as a digital download and will shortly be released on CD via Razgrom Records.

Following on from the positive feedback, by people, about the track “Florian”, KRAFTman decided to release the track as a single and reach out to the Machine-Pop community to remix the track and was delighted to obtain remixes from Maschine Brennt and 808 Dot Pop, in addition KRAFTman also recorded a 1980s style extended version of “Florian" too, so included on the release are 6 tracks, 2 mixes by KRAFTman, 2 by Maschine Brennt and 2 by 808 Dot Pop.

Undoubtably a touching tribute to a pioneer of electronic music, Florian Schneider.

KRAFTman has had a passion for electronic music for over 40 years, right from the minute he saw Tubeway Army perform "Are Friends Electric?" on Top Of The Pops.

It will come as no surprise that KRAFTman is a massive Kraftwerk fan and has recorded several of their songs, in addition he has written and recorded his own compositions, including a song called "Florian", dedicated to Florian Schneider.
