With "Let Go", Taxidermy refines and expands their approach to composition and texture, deepening their visceral exploration of noise, tension and psychological unrest. A natural extension of last year’s debut EP "Coin", "Let Go" is both a continuation and a conclusion - an open-ended counterpart that delves even further into the bleak, chaotic and cathartic. Much like its predecessor, "Let Go" is a tightly wound yet expansive work with an avant-garde curiosity, oscillating between violent intensity and fragile beauty - punctuated by the addition of strings and brass - drawing inspiration from post-punk, noise-rock, early emo and post-hardcore. The tension between chaos and control, structure and collapse, is at the core of the EP. The songs twist unpredictably, with jagged, dissonant guitars cutting through hypnotic, droning passages, only to erupt into bursts of overwhelming noise.

Osvald Reinhold’s voice - tense, desperate, manic and volatile - paints portraits of existential dread and destructive cycles, where emotion, memory and anxiety blur into one; his cryptic, claustrophobic lyricism conjuring images of decaying structures, collapsing time and cycles that cannot be broken. With eerie spaciousness and fractured minimalism, fragmented and surreal, "Let Go" sees Taxidermy pushing further into the unknown - fearless, uncompromising and unafraid to embrace the extremes of beauty and brutality.
