Varg i Veum is an electronic duo based in Naples, Italy consisting in Alessandra and Michele (former singer of post-punk act Hapax).
The band combines coldwave’s sonic paradigm with medieval folk elements, to build a multilayered melancholic sound through domineering electronics and heavily reverberated vocal lines.
Thanks to Alessandra’s solid academic background in Germanic philology, the lyrics are largely inspired by the old norse poetry, but also by English romantics to some extent, restoring with new verses the ancient rhymes in a desolate monological maelstrom.

SwissDarkNights (28/01/12) is an independent label. Supports and produces music in order to collect every possible fragment from a slice of contemporary goth scene.
SDN edits and produces Glassmastered debuts to promote young bands.
