Imaginary North's relationship with Chad Skinner, who records as Sun Rain, was established near the outset of the label, and has developed into a close relationship, with Chad's studio Half Moon Audio becoming responsible for mastering many of our albums and compilations, and the space playing host to meetups, jams, and collaborations.

We are so thrilled to release Sun Rain's newest EP, a collection of some of his droniest and meditative tracks, focusing on texture, repetition, and deep listening. As one of our last releases of an incredibly busy 2024, this is the perfect soundtrack to unwind.
