EXSANGUINATA is the soundtrack for the film of the same name, co-created by SABBATH ASSEMBLY and director GRETCHEN HEINEL. The album presents SABBATH ASSEMBLY playing exclusively electronically, crafting the music to illustrate the film's portrayal of the COUNTESS BATHORY and her quest for eternal life. Sabbath Assembly was an occult rock band, formed in 2010, based in TX and NYC. At its inception the group formed to play the hymns of the Process Church of the Final Judgment, an Apocalyptic religious sect from the late 60’s. The band later performed and recorded original songs that maintained occult themes. Sabbath Assembly disbanded in 2020.
