originally released in 1999 this second Monolake album on Robert Henke's own label did age extremely well. Colorful and vibrant tracks reflect the abundance of influences that shaped Monolake's music, from techno to drum&bass , ambient to acousmatic music and electro. This album is also the last one composed in equal parts by Robert Henke and Gerhard Behles, who afterwards entirely focused on running Ableton, which is also not the worst thing possible :-)

Robert Henke is a composer, visual artist and software developer.
His music oscillates between ambient, contemporary music and club. His project Monolake became one of the key icons of electronic club culture emerging in Berlin 1989. He is one of the main creators of Ableton Live, a software which became the standard for music production and completely redefined performance of electronic music.
