This project is inspired by an empty street beside The Diamond Baseball Stadium called Avenue of Champions in Richmond, Virginia, my hometown. I said that'd be a fire album title. These songs are me weaving a project that has evolved organically since 2016.

This is my birthday present to myself and my gift to you. Hip Hop is Liberation. Art helped me use my imagination to change my reality, and songwriting helped me stay decisive. Keep asking questions and have fun.

This is for the students I've coached, the artists I grew up with, the musicians I've collaborated with, my staff, my teammates, This is for my neighbors. This is for who freestyled or danced to my drumming at open mics and poetry slams. This is for my mentors, I am grateful for your patience.

I do what flows to & thru me. I speak lessons with a inspirational coded language. Be me no matter the pressure to fold into a shape I don't desire. Branch out into the unknown at will as expert of tearing from the main narrative, vignette moments of truth. I survive to return to the studio more prepared than the last. Learn from the Greats, Always tell your story. Cut out the middleman, Get your creativity to the People, Demand Respect Live your dream, Keep Going!
