"Red Rose comes from a place of isolation, the lyrics deal with how one chooses to cope with the loss of life. The lyrics were written around the same time as our last E.P., Empathy, vividly describing the traumatic experience of having a friend of ours take their life.

This song recognizes there is no happy ending with this type of situation. The climactic "how does that feel now" that crescendos refers to falling prey to your vices in order to forget pain. This music video's about opening up about the things that keep you awake at night, and how difficult it is to battle those things alone."
