After a 12" EP on Swiss label Mina, which included a scorching remix by Tamed Musiq boss and world renown DJ, Ripperton, the musical collaboration between Anders Ilar from Sweden and Chris H. Jones a.k.a. Yard from the USA sees the release of their long awaited full-length Album. Their seductive sounds have already seen regular rotation by globetrekking DJs such as John Digweed and were included on his 4 CD and 5 vinyl release, Live in Argentina. This is truly a new electronic fusion of 00's, 90's and 80's influences. With references to everything from synthpop to ambient, dub to electro and idm, shoegaze and ethereal to darkwave. Our Loving Sun have woven a subtle texture with the crooning vocals of The Futureless singer Shawn Tucker of Toronto, Canada and others.

Our Loving Sun was formed in January 2011 by Anders Ilar from Sweden and Chris Jones a.k.a. Yard from USA, plus a few invited guests on vocals, bass and guitar. Inspired by 80′s synthpop/ethereal/darkwave and 90′s-00′s ambient/dub-techno/acid they come up with a uniquely fresh and deep, yet nostalgic perspective on ethereal electronic pop music.
