Melrose Quartet's debut recording - captured live at Cheltenham Folk Festival in 2011, the band's first ever festival appearance. These six tracks convey the warmth and sparkle these four great musicians felt when they first got together. Some of the tracks are the only recordings by Melrose Quartet of songs that have become favourites in their repertoire, including Pilgrimage and John Ball. Released initially as a limited run of physical CDs which quickly sold out, this has until now been unavailable to the public.

Simply one of the best acappella groups on the UK folk scene, Melrose Quartet are made up of two well-loved folk duos, Nancy Kerr & James Fagan and Jess & Rich Arrowsmith. Based in Sheffield, they have a decade of gigs behind them, and vast collective experience as workshop leaders as well as performers. They are also a ceilidh band and the Patrons of Whiby Folk Week.
