When we're with a partner for a long time we oftentimes we lose track of who we are without them. In 2016, I broke up with who I thought was the love of my life and was forced to relearn to who I was without her. "it's 2am and she's on my mind" was created through chain smoking and insomnia in the process of self discovery.
