Originally released on the French label Transes Européennes in 1997 and long out of print, this concert was the first musical meeting of Fred and Jean-Pierre and marked the beginning of many years of collaborations.

together: surprise even one’s own self before surprising the other; anticipate anything unexpected or incongruous; never refuse the held out breath, the hand offered; seize the sound and expand it with unspoken elan, risk one’s skins, throw one’s strings into nothingness, rub up against each other as if in some imaginary dance.”
