Well, this one certainly won't be a very consensual release, but since we believe life shouldn't be taken too seriously, here it goes. Making its third release of 2023, Extended Records presents the Single “Parabéns Sara!” by Ângelo Selvagem!

The song originated from the idea of offering a birthday present to a friend: Sara (born 27 Nov. 1991). Contacting a mutual friend, who enjoys and knows how to sing (Marta), a musical partnership was proposed. Together they started to write loose stuff... Meanwhile, to a sample of a kizomba beat she added a 4 chord progression: Am7 – BbM7 – Bm7 – BbM7 with an electric piano, very common in the 80s, the DX7. To this were added some strings and a bass line, all from VST's. In the rap part, the drums switch to a more aggressive beat with half the tempo and the electric piano line and the strings are removed to make the harmonic part of the song less defined. The only instrument that was recorded was the voice. The song came about quite spontaneously as it was thought to be written and produced in just two days (that was the time they had left for Sara's return to Portugal).
The idea of the song would be that of a love letter written by Biscoito (Sara's cat) who, seeing himself abandoned by her, on the weekend of her birthday when the owner would have gone to Milan to be with her boyfriend (Capela), writes her a letter congratulating her, while confessing his feelings for her. Meanwhile, Estrelinha, interrupts and continues the said "letter" in rap mode...

The single here presented contains the original version, as well as a shorter version, edited for the highly unlikely eventuality of having some radio play, and is accompanied by 3 remixes by artists from the label: Diogo, Rabu Mazda and DJ Shperma.
