When I was young my family lived near a small lake in the hills of Edinboro, Pennsylvania, and a neighbor who owned some land along the marshy shoreline allowed us to dock a small rowboat there. I still have very fond memories of the dragonfly filled fields adjacent to the lake, and times when I would row out alone into the inlets of reeds and admire the birds and surface-skimmers on the shallow water. Here, I've attempted to create soundscapes which enhance those recollections.

This album is dedicated to the memory of Lori Iacavazzi, proud supporter of fine music and admirer of excellent films.
