The single “Hey Kids” is an exact representation of Molina’s qualities as both a producer and songwriter. It evolves from a loop of dizzy synths, a steady beat and Molina’s voice up until the 2nd verse when Swedish artist and co-writer Late Verlane joins Molina on vocals. The beat vanishes mid-song and leaves the listener surrounded by voices before the song picks up again and the chorus provides the perfect gateway into the entangling universe of Molina.

Molina is the copenhagen based Danish-Chilean producer and composer (b. 1992). Her music flows from an interest in combining digital, sample-based production with hand-played, unpolished instrumentation. While she sings—either airily or droningly, guitars blur the lines with jagged textures. There are wide and woozy landscapes: a pixelating sunset coming in and out of focus.
