Bobby Legaspi is a musician/composer from Manila Philippines who coaxes non traditional sounds from the electric guitar using a slew of pedal effects, ebows, slides and etc. He has been involved with the Philippine local underground sludge doom metal scene playing guitar and drums in several bands notably Malicious Birth, Surrogate Prey, Shaman’s Bud, Kushagra and Basalt Shrine.

Beneath Black Waves is a curated body of music consisting of composed melodies and harmonies dressed in droning loops, distorted reverbed guitars and ambient cinematic textures culminating in a sound one can imagine emanating from a Doom orchestra from the deep sea trenches.

A curated sonic journey designed to reform the individual’s internal environment.
