Anger. Frustration. For some the only outlet is violence, as a last-ditch act of sheer desperation. Fists clenched, thrown in all directions. The wall. People around us. And especially inwards, towards ourselves. The ever-overwhelming guilt. You just don’t know what to do with yourself at this point. However, there are some moments of not-yet-so-silent contemplation. Moments where the voices screaming in your head manage to turn themselves down just a little bit to give you some room to breathe. In this stage those moments are rare and fleeting, so cherish them. Before the grief returns once more.

Blossom & Wither is a four-piece instrumental post-metal band from the Netherlands. The band combines various characteristics from different genres: catchy syncopated rhythms and overwhelming blast beats, alternated with ambience and elongated post-rock compositions -- resulting in a mixture of layered melodic parts and heavy, pounding riffs.
