We are so excited to introduce you to our first artist signing from the U.K. - the incredible duo 2fox. 2fox are the classy, affable and talented Max Sinàl and Renell Shaw. We were introduced to 2fox last year through Rudimental. We can’t express enough how much enthusiasm we have for their upcoming “Elevation” EP which drops Friday, June 14th on Soul Clap Records / EMPIRE Dance.

First we share with you the title track and lead single "Elevation" which features the silky smooth lead vocals of the deeply soulful artist Laville (also known for collaborations with The Brand New Heavies, Stone Foundation, Foreign Beggars).

“Elevation” is a joyous soulful house affair that celebrates the spirit of our dance music community, buoyed by Renell’s bubbling bass line, percussions and a female choral backing vocal.

"Just Be", is a slice of deep dance floor soul featuring the candied vocals of Nandi (The Voice), a sublime spoken word from performance poet, Sophia Thakur, and a powerful affirmation from Afronaut Zu (Rudimental). Rounding off this eclectic soulful package is "Mare Street State Of Mind", a snappy, jazz-fuelled broken beat groover that’s powered by Sophia Thakur’s captivating story-telling and a heartfelt duet with Laville on the chorus.

About 2fox: Max is a veteran dance music DJ from East London and was dubbed one of DJ Mag top emerging artists in 2023. You may know him from his own label Soul Quest Recordings which is quickly gaining applause with releases like “Waiting”. Renell Shaw is an award winning composer (Ivor Novello 2020 for composition) and multi-instrumentalist known for his work supporting Rudimental.
